Megan Fox Reportedly Took Off Her Ring But Hasn’t Called Off Her Engagement to Machine Gun Kelly
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly may not be as broken up as her recent social media activity made it appear.
On February 12, Fox sparked a frenzy of headlines when she reportedly unfollowed MGK and deleted all traces of him from her Instagram feed. She quoted Beyoncé’s album Lemonade in the caption of a cryptic post, which included a video of Fox burning an unknown letter: “You can taste the dishonesty/it’s all over your breath.” Adding fuel to the fire, Fox quickly replied to a fan who suggested her fiancé had an affair with his guitarist, Sophie Lloyd, writing, “Maybe I got with Sophie.”
Hours later, the 36-year-old actor’s entire profile appeared to have been scrubbed from Instagram, which only seemed to confirm that something big went down.
However, another source told Entertainment Tonight that the pair “seemed fine” while celebrating Super Bowl weekend together. “Megan and MGK have been together all of Super Bowl weekend. They’ve been out at parties together every night, including last night, and seemed fine,” the source told ET on February 12. “Last night MGK also performed at a party, but he seemed a bit off. His energy was low, and the performance wasn’t great.”
Still, while a source told People that Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly “haven’t officially called off the engagement,” they said Fox has taken off her engagement ring—a controversial piece of custom jewelry that was designed to hurt if removed. “Megan is very upset. They had a fight over the weekend and Megan won’t speak to him,” the source said, adding, “They have had issues in the past, but things seem pretty serious this time.”
